Cookie Policy

Last Updated: July 31, 2026 · Effective Date: July 31, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how The Natework Group LLC, dba Connector Profile uses cookies and similar technologies on ConnectorProfile.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember information about your visit, such as whether you're logged in, your preferences, or your session progress.

Similar technologies include local storage (used to store assessment progress in your browser) and session storage.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

Cookie TypePurposeDurationCan You Opt Out?
Essential Authentication and secure session management. Keeping you logged in to your account. Protecting against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). Session / up to 7 days No: required for the site to function
Functional Saving your assessment progress so you don't lose answers if you navigate away. Remembering your consent preferences. Saving your audience type selection. Up to 30 days Yes, but may affect functionality
Analytics Google Analytics 4, used to understand which pages are visited, how long users spend on the site, and where users navigate from, so we can measure and improve the site. IP addresses are anonymized. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, remarketing, or ad personalization. Up to 1 year Yes - see Section 6

3. What We Do NOT Use

We do not use:

  • Third-party advertising cookies
  • Cross-site tracking cookies
  • Behavioral profiling cookies
  • Social media tracking pixels
  • Cookies from advertising networks (Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, etc.)

4. Local Storage

In addition to cookies, we use your browser's local storage to temporarily save:

  • Your assessment responses (while you are taking an assessment)
  • Your assessment results (until you create an account or clear your browser)
  • Your consent preferences

Local storage is similar to cookies but persists until cleared. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings. If you clear local storage before creating an account, your assessment results will be lost.

5. Third-Party Cookies

Our authentication provider (Clerk) may set cookies to manage your secure login session. These are essential cookies and are required for account functionality. Stripe (our payment processor) may set cookies during the payment checkout process. These cookies are subject to Stripe's own privacy and cookie policies.

6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can manage your cookie preferences in several ways:

  • Our consent banner: When you first visit the site, you'll see a cookie notice with a single "Got it" acknowledgment. Analytics stays off by default and only turns on once you click it - if you close the tab or navigate away without clicking, analytics is never activated for that visit. There's no separate "decline" button because there's nothing to decline: essential and functional cookies always run (the site can't work without them), and analytics simply never starts unless you acknowledge the banner.
  • Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. See your browser's help documentation for instructions. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.
  • Clearing local storage: Via your browser's developer tools or privacy settings. Note that this will remove your unsaved assessment progress.

Please be aware that restricting cookies may affect how our website functions. Essential cookies are required for the site to operate correctly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
