Team Assessment

How the Team Report Works

From purchase to report, here's exactly what happens, who does what, and what each person receives.

The Process

Five steps from purchase to insight

The whole process typically takes one to two weeks, depending on how quickly team members complete their assessments.

1

Purchase a Team Report

One person makes the purchase. They become the Buyer. The Team Report includes up to 10 seats (additional seats available).

After checkout, you'll be taken immediately to the setup page. No waiting.
2

Set Up the Three Roles

On the setup page, you designate a Team Administrator and a Team Manager. All three roles can be the same person, or three different people, whatever works for your organization.

The Administrator gets a secure link to the admin panel by email. No account creation required.
3

Administrator Configures & Sends Invites

The Administrator opens their admin panel, names the team, sets a privacy policy (named or anonymous), and optionally sets an assessment deadline. Then they paste in the team's email addresses and send invites.

Once invites are sent, the privacy setting is permanently locked. Team members are emailed secure invite links and told upfront whether results will be named or anonymous.
4

Team Members Take the Assessment

Each team member clicks their invite link, signs in (or creates a free account), and completes the 64-question assessment. They'll see their own individual Connector Profile results immediately.

The admin panel updates in real time as members complete their assessments. The Administrator can extend the deadline at any time.
5

Administrator Generates the Report

When ready (after all members complete, after the deadline, or whenever the Administrator decides), they click Generate Report. The Team Manager is emailed their secure report link immediately.

The report requires at least 3 completed assessments. Members who haven't completed are excluded from the report, but their seats remain available for individual use.
Roles Explained

Three roles, one smooth process

These can all be the same person. Separate roles make sense when the person paying the invoice isn't the one running the team.

🧾

Buyer

The person or organization that made the purchase. Often this is someone in finance, HR, or operations. They may have nothing to do with the actual assessment.

Receives

  • Invoice receipt from Stripe at purchase
  • Confirmation email when the team report is complete (for records)

Does not see assessment results or the team report.

⚙️

Team Administrator

The person who sets up and runs the assessment. They have full control of the admin panel via a secure, bookmarkable link. No Connector Profile account required.

Receives

  • Secure admin panel link by email immediately after setup
  • Real-time progress view as team members complete assessments
  • Control over deadline, team name, and privacy setting
  • Ability to generate the final report when ready

Admin panel link is permanent. Bookmark it.

📊

Team Manager

The person who receives and uses the team report. Typically the team lead, coach, or manager who will act on the insights to develop their team. No account required.

Receives

  • Secure team report link by email when the report is generated
  • Aggregate team Connector Score
  • Full dimension profile across all 8 networking dimensions
  • Archetype distribution across the team
  • Individual profiles (named or anonymous, per privacy setting)

Report link is permanent. Bookmark it.

Privacy Setting

Named or Anonymous: you decide

The Administrator sets this before invites go out. Team members are told the privacy setting in their invite email.

Named Results

  • Individual profiles in the team report show each person's name, score, archetype, and dimension profile
  • Best for teams where transparency and direct feedback are part of the culture
  • Members are notified in their invite email that results will be by name

Anonymous Results

  • Individual profiles in the team report are labeled "Team Member 1," "Team Member 2," etc., in random order
  • Aggregate scores, archetypes, and dimension profiles are all still visible
  • Best for organizations where psychological safety matters or where direct attribution could create tension
  • Members are notified in their invite email that results will be anonymous
The privacy setting is locked the moment invites are sent and cannot be changed, not even by the Administrator. This protects team members who complete the assessment under a stated privacy expectation. If you need to add members after invites go out, they will use the same privacy setting as the rest of the team.
Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Members who haven't completed when the report is generated are marked as excluded and are not included in the team report. However, their seats don't disappear: those seat credits remain available and can be used for individual assessments later. The report is generated from whoever has completed, as long as there are at least 3.
Yes. The Administrator can update the assessment deadline at any time from the admin panel, even after the original deadline has passed. The report is not generated automatically when the deadline expires. The Administrator always generates it manually when they're ready.
Yes, you can purchase additional seats and add members after the initial invite send. New members use the same privacy setting as the rest of the team. This cannot be changed. Contact support to arrange additional seats.
Yes, team members need to sign in (or create a free account) to take the assessment. This ensures their individual results are saved and accessible in their own dashboard. The Administrator and Manager do not need accounts. They use secure email links instead.
Yes. Every team member sees their full individual Connector Profile results immediately after completing the assessment: their Connector Score, archetype, and full dimension profile. The privacy setting only affects how their results appear in the team report, not whether they can see their own results.
Absolutely. Many teams use the same person for all three roles. The setup page lets you check "Same as Administrator" to copy those details to the Manager role. You can also use the same email address for all three roles and receive all communications in one inbox.
The team report includes: the average Team Connector Score, a dimension-by-dimension profile showing the team's aggregate strengths and development areas, an archetype distribution showing how many team members fall into each of the 8 Connector Profile archetypes, and individual profiles for each included member (named or anonymous, per your privacy setting).
The Connector Profile assessment is 64 questions and takes most people 12 to 18 minutes to complete. Members can complete it on any device, at any time, from the link in their invite email.
